The main goal for this renovation was to improve the function and flow of the main floor kitchen, living and dining area. By providing an open concept floor plan, we were able to visually create more space, and utilize this newfound space more efficiently. The full kitchen demolition offered the opportunity to thoughtfully improve both the layout and associated storage solutions, prioritizing accessibility through hidden storage elements that aid in aging in place, such as; pull down and pull out units, double drawer storage and hidden waste receptacles. We were also able to incorporate a kitchen island, providing additional storage and counter space; a well needed upgrade from the previously cramped kitchen layout. By layering in new window treatments, personalized furniture and accessories, a sense of belonging was created, resulting in a thoughtful and welcoming space tailored to the client.
