Furniture & Styling

Styling is an important step in any interior transformation. In this service I will offer furniture, lighting, artwork and accessories suggestions to refine your space.

Styling begins with an in-depth 2 hour Site Consultation where we will discuss the scope of work and gain an understanding of how you use and envision your space.

You, the Client, will then select your preferred styling method from the following options; Full Service, Partial Service and A la Carte.

Should you decide to proceed, I will provide my Service Agreement & Statement of Work for your review and signature.

From here, we embark on the Furniture & Styling Process!

*Please note this service is only available for Residential projects. Furniture coordination services are available for commercial projects. Please inquire with Sonia Rose Design for further information.

**All product purchases are subject to a 15% procurement fee (minimum). Procurement fee may vary depending on product type

Option I - Full Service

This is your full service approach, where I will take care of all planning and purchasing.

  1. Initial Site Consultation

  2. Client and Designer to visit showrooms as required

    • Quantity of showroom visits will be stipulated in the provided Statement of Work

    • Client may be required to visit some showrooms without designer

  3. I will prepare a shopping spreadsheet of furniture, lighting, artwork and decor selections for your review and approval

  4. I will purchase items on your behalf based on the approved shopping spreadsheet, and will coordinate deliveries

    • A 50% deposit is required by Client prior to commencing purchasing

    • All product purchases are subject to a 15% procurement fee

    • Client to receive deliveries directly

    • In some cases, you, the Client, will be required to make the purchase to ensure warranties of the product

  5. I will style the room(s) at my daily rate and invoice you, the Client, for the spreadsheet, procurement, product purchases and styling time

Partial Service

Option II - Partial Service

This is your middle of the road option, where you, the Client, can take on a more hands on approach.

  1. Initial Site Consultation

  2. Client to visit showrooms as per provided list from Designer

  3. I will prepare a shopping spreadsheet of furniture, lighting, artwork and decor selections for your review and approval

  4. You, the Client, will purchase items directly from listed suppliers

    • Client to receive deliveries directly

  5. I will style the room(s) at my daily rate and invoice you, the Client, for the spreadsheet and styling time

Option III

A la Carte

Option III - A la Carte

This option applies to decor and accessories only. No furniture or large styling items are included in this service.

  1. Initial Site Consultation

  2. I will source and purchase styling items based on the desired design aesthetic approved by you, the Client (no formal spreadsheet included in this option). I will style the room(s) at my daily rate

    • All product purchases are subject to a 15% procurement fee

  3. You, the Client, has the opportunity to purchase styling items at the end of the styling process. You may select as many or as few pieces as desired

    • Selections and purchases must be made in a timely manner

  4. I will invoice you, the Client, for procurement, selected products and styling time
